Interior Design magazine has awarded the 2012 Best of Year Awards to two introductions from Knoll. The Lounge Collection by Pierre Beucler and Jean-Christophe Poggioli and Kamani by Knoll Luxe, have received 2012 Best of Year Awards in the Contract Lounge and Residential Textiles categories, respectively.
The Lounge Collection, which debuted at Salone 2012 in May and also previewed at NeoCon 2012 in June, embodies casual elegance while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. The composition of the furniture is characterized by graceful transitions between the surround and its upholstered core. The signature leg, evoking the purity of refined women’s footwear, elegantly delivers the frame to the floor.
Kamani, a new upholstery for Knoll Luxe designed by KnollTextiles creative director Dorothy Cosonas, is the recipient of the 2012 Best of Year award for Residential Textiles.
