Properly adjust your chair to be as productive and healthy as possible

To get the most out of your office chair, you need to adjust it to your body. And adjust it to the way you work. You might place it in several positions throughout the day depending on your tasks. This is called ergonomics.

These videos from our friends at Global Total Office are for their chairs in particular, but the adjustments apply to 90% of the task chairs on the market. Your individual chair may or may not have all these adjustments.

If you are buying a new chair be sure to get one that does. That way you can be as productive and healthy as possible.

First adjust your seat height

Then adjust your seat depth
Then adjust your seat angle
Then adjust your back angle

Then adjust your back height

Then adjust your arms

Finally adjust your tilt tension

Now you are all set to have a productive and healthy day at work. Make it a great one!
